Handover and Aftercare

A good handover is planned before the final week. Buildsafe treats completion as a controlled stage involving checks, client inspection, snagging, records and clear communication about what has been completed and what remains open.

The handover pack depends on the project. It may include certificates, product data, operating information, warranties, as-built information where applicable and demonstrations for systems that the client needs to use or maintain.

Aftercare should provide a practical contact process for defects or questions. Buildsafe does not promise a generic guarantee that has not been agreed in project-specific documentation.
