Supply-Chain Standards

A construction project depends on the competence and coordination of the people delivering it. Buildsafe expects subcontractors, suppliers and specialists to support safe, quality-led and respectful site work.

Before appointment, the relevant experience, capability, insurance position, health-and-safety information and scope understanding should be considered. Once appointed, responsibilities, programme requirements and communication routes must be clear.

Materials and specialist systems should be suitable for the intended use and coordinated with the wider design. Performance should be reviewed so future projects benefit from lessons learned.
