HEALTH AND SAFETY
Safe planning, controlled sites and responsible delivery.
Safe delivery begins before work starts on site. Buildsafe approaches health and safety through early risk identification, construction-phase planning, competence checks and practical site controls suited to the project scale and environment.
Risk assessments and method statements are considered as working tools, not paperwork to file away. Where hazardous substances, dust, noise, access constraints, temporary works, lifting, plant or public interfaces are relevant, they must be understood before activity proceeds.
Inductions, toolbox talks, welfare, site security, supervision and communication help keep expectations visible. On residential and urban sites, neighbour protection, public access, deliveries and housekeeping can be just as important as the main construction operations.
Incidents, near misses and safety concerns should be reported and reviewed so learning can be applied. Buildsafe does not claim certification that has not been verified for public display.
